Photos Around Spoil Bank Cay

Here we are approaching Spoil Bank Cay.  It doesn't look like much from a distance, but the shelling is supposed to be very good here.  This is the farthest we boated from the house.

The beach on Spoil Bank Cay

Here we've pulled our boat up on the beach along with the others and started our search for the perfect shell.

You had to be carefull which shells you tried to pick up.  Some of them were already occupied by Hermit crabs.

As we were returning to the boat to leave, we noticed a large Seastar in the water.  Diane tried to get a picture of it.

As you can see by Dave's foot, The Seastar was about the size of a dinner plate.  As we watched it for about 15 minutes, it  slowly crept along the sea floor.
