Driving up the Queen's Highway from the airport, this is the sign that greets you as you enter the Pigeon Cay area. Turning left here puts you on a dirt road that leads past several private homes (some rentals) and the Pigeon Cay Beach Club (a small resort).

The dirt road leads eventually to this house which we rented, called the Boathouse.
There's more details on it on my "Boathouse Description" webpage.

The Boathouse came with kayaks that could be used to explore the Aligator Creek area behind the house.

We found a small beach area in the creek where we could pull up the kayaks and enjoy a snack.

This is the beach by the house. You could walk about 3 miles along the sand.

Nearby was the Pigeon Cay Beach Club. It was real nice "mini" resort with about 6 waterfront cottages.

Here I am walking up the main entrance of the resort.

The cottages are arranged in a line along the top of a dune that overlooks the water, which is off to the right.

This is the Pigeon Cay resort beachfront. They have some kayaks and a Hobie Cat for their guests' use.
