Harbor Island Photos

On one of our day trips to the north we decided to take the ferry over to Harbor Island and check the place out. We had already been to Spanish Wells by this time so I knew I didn't want to rent a golf cart. Instead we just walked around and checked out the beach.

Here's the view of the main dock.

There were several street vendors along the "main" road by the docks.

We had read about this street corner on the internet. There's a real collection of signs and license plates from all over the states plastered to every tree and sign post.

As you can see, the beach at Harbor Island was "mobbed" the day we were there! :-) The view in the other direction was just as busy. It made us long for the truly deserted beaches in the southern half of Eleuthera.
