Lighthouse Point and Beach Photos Lighthouse Point and Beach is at the far southern end of Eleuthera. Make sure you bring everything you might possibly need as there is NOTHING down there. Mainly bring lots of water and some food. Below is an example of the 3 mile long access road to the beach.
When you get to the end of the road there's a small parking area. I wouldn't recommend trying the last 100 feet of road past the parking area. It's a steep ascent up a sandy, rutted path and doesn't gain you anything. It's far easy and safer to just walk the last bit rather than get stuck with your rental car. After you park the car, the lovely Caribbean beach beacons you, see below.
Resist the urge and walk along the road up over the rise to the Atlantic beach. It's stupendous. We walked for 3 miles and never saw another soul. You can see how crowded the beach was. First view is looking northward.
The photo below is from the same place looking south. The Lighthouse and parking area are beyond the far point of land in the photo.
Below is a panoramic shot from the point of land beyond the lighthouse. You'll have to scroll to the right to see it all.
