Surfer's Beach Photos

(To reach this beach I'd suggest getting the book "The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera".
They have good, easy to follow directions to all the good beaches on Eleuthera.)

This is the road to Surfer's Beach. After leaving the Queen's Highway, the road is very rough and rocky. Then it turns sandy and goes up a steep sandy hill and thru these dense bushes that scrape the sides of the jeep.

At the end of the road, off to the right, is a shelter on the hillside that gives you a good place to sit for a while and relax while you watch the surfers in the water below.

This is Surfer's Beach from the hillside shelter. While we were there, there were several surfers taking advantage of the waves.

This is the view of Surfer's Beach looking southward. We saw only one
solitary beachcomber walking in the far distance.
